SINGAPORE

I went to Singapore February 2018 and it honestly was one of my favorite destinations that I have been to. It was on my radar for quite some time, but the tickets were always so expensive from New York. However, one lucky day I was able to score an amazing deal thanks to United Airlines. The grand total for my ticket was $476.86 USD! A steal! With this price it gave my friends and I more wiggle room to squeeze in other things for this trip to the far east.

Top things I did in Singapore

  1. Marina Bay Sands: This rooftop has been wanderlust inspiration for many travel enthusiasts. Instead of staying the night at the hotel you can just pay $20 USD to go to rooftop sip on a cocktail of your choice and see the same epic views for way less.
  2. Gardens by the Bay/ Super Tree Grove- You all have probably seen this all over Instagram but in real life it is truly spectacular. My advice go in the daytime and also go at night. The trees feel like something out of a sci fi movie.
  3. Merlion Park– The best place to view the whole city of Singapore. Plenty of places for great photos.
  4. Art Science Museum– This was one of the main reasons why I wanted to visit Singapore. At this art museum you could literally spend the whole day there. So much to see & tons of photo ops. My favorite thing here was the Crystal Universe exhibit. It truly is out of this world.
  5. Hello Kitty Café – I am a huge Hello Kitty fan so when I found out that there was a café right at the airport I had to go for the experience. I would suggest to do this while at the airport either when you arrive or when you are about to leave. It was so cute and has plenty of picture opportunities.
  6. Little India– I loved this area of Singapore. It feels like you are transported back into time with the shops, eateries, & architecture. One of my favorite parts of this city.
  7. SHOPPING– The shopping malls in Singapore is by far the best I have seen ever in the world. I could of spent a day here and have endless things to do. It is a must see.
  8. FOOD- Eat as much as you can while in Singapore. So many options for everyone. You can try food from around the world in this multicultural city. Food is can be really cheap or expensive. Depends on your mood but everything was so tasty.

Has anyone been to Singapore? If so what were your favorite things to do while there? I would love to hear about your experience. Be sure to also check out the behind the scenes on my Youtube: ashleykiyana. Also for other photos my Instagram: ashleykiyana .
