Secret Garden

IMG_7974IMG_7979Summer has been such a whirlwind for me. I already have been on three vacations in a matter of three months back to back. So I apologize for my lack of posting new material for all of my readers. With that being said I think this latest look will make up for my absence. IMG_7978 For my latest shoot I decided to push the envelope just a little bit. I have an insane love for lingerie and I spend a pretty penny on it. How often does anyone see this investment if it is always underneath your clothing? If you look at any of the latest fashion runway shows,  you will see lots of lingerie inspired attire that can be worn on a day to day basis if accessorized correctly. IMG_7985With this look in particular I decided to go with a lace bodysuit, that I actually got from Forever 21 for under $20 bucks. I paired it with one of my favorite skirts which I purchased years ago at TOPSHOP for about $40 dollars at the time. To complete the look, I decided to go with my Jeffrey Campbell Sterling Light-Up Platform Heels that I bought three years ago for $150. What I love most about the shoes is that the light in the heel last for 10 years! Such a great investment! IMG_7987 These shoes are so futuristic and will always be my favorite pair. If you are a shoe lover like me you may remember the Jimmy Choo Light-Up Platform Sandals that have the same concept as JC’s shoes with a larger price tag of course. IMG_7986 Let me get back to the outfit details, the bodysuit is not see through! Which is so important if you decide to wear your lingerie looks outdoors. However, if something you purchased is see through you can always line it with something else to make it more outdoor appropriate. This look is for more of a party setting.

If I wanted to go for more of polished look I will just add a black blazer. Also, I would change the skirt to a different color that didn’t have the patent shine. Last but not least, the shoes would have to be less of a statement as well, definitely would be more toned down.
