Spring like weather has finally arrived to NYC this past weekend. There is nothing like summertime in the city. Since the weather has been improving I have been able to do some more shoots outdoors.
If you follow my instagram you probably have seen a glimpse of some of these photos. However, there are so many more I wanted to share. This look instantly reminded me of vintage NYC …more like the early hip hop days hence the name of the post “Around The Way Girl” which was a popular song by LL Cool J back in the 1990’s.
This look was pretty easy to come up with because it has a modern but throwback appeal. I just have a basic black crop top which I purchased from Boohoo.com about two years ago. The Levis’s jeans I had for about the same time frame as my top. Last but not least my BCBG boots which have been featured on the blog before.
To complete the look all I did was rock my natural curly hair and add my MAC Rih Rih Woo red lip and I was good to go.
