I have been meaning to do this post for quite some time now on my Christian Louboutin nail polish. I have had this polish for about a month now so now I can do a proper review on this amazing product.
If any of my readers own anything Christian Louboutin you know it is ultra-luxurious. The quality is the best you can get but the price tag is not so friendly. I knew once I bought this nail polish a lot of people would probably say it is not worth the splurge; especially with the price tag of $50 before tax. However, what sold me about this product was the beautiful packaging. The bottles are truly a work of art and will instantly add glam to your vanity or just your nail polish collection in general.
Before buying this nail polish I went back and forth about it. Should I buy or should I not buy? Thank goodness for Sephora because I was able to test out the different shades before I took the plunge. I decided to go with one of the colors from the nude collection, but in true Ashley fashion I had to get a pink nude shade so I went with the Tres Decollete color!
So when I applied this nail polish what I loved the most was the fact that the nude wasn’t sheer. Honestly, I could of just had one coat of polish because the color was still very vibrant. It is very rare in nude color shades. I decided to go with two coats of polish because I wanted the color to be a little pinker.
The drying time was very quick which I loved. Since, I am the type of person who can’t sit still when I am waiting for my nails to dry. Overall my manicure lasted for about 6-7 days which I thought was pretty good considering most manicures I pay for only last 2-3 days tops. However, I did add another element to my manicure that I recommend to all my nail polish lovers. I also purchased Inglot’s gel effect top coat. I think it is $11-12 dollars but it is a must ladies for a long lasting manicure or pedicure. It gives you that gel longevity without the UV light.
I will definitely purchase another Christian Louboutin nail polish in the future the quality is amazing and I love the colors. Hopefully this review helps anyone deciding whether or not to splurge on this nail polish line. Until next time : )
