Mink Lashes

So yesterday evening I did something new that I have been curious to try for quite sometime now. Last month I purchased a Lifebooker deal on lifebooker.com for mink eyelashes. I finally gave in and took the plunge to purchase the deal since the website had a black friday sale going on. I figure what better time to try them than now; since my birthday is approaching.. which happens to be this Saturday 🙂 The deal included the choice of synthetic, mink, or silk lashes. I decided on  mink because it was the only one I was familiar with and I knew it was a must for celebs. Also with the deal I got the choice of a free lip wax, underarm wax, or eyebrow wax. You can’t beat that! 

The place is called Forever Eyelash here in New York City. When you first walk into the door the walls are painted pink. It is very girly and the people there were so welcoming & extremely pleasant. I asked plenty of questions prior to getting minked.

The deal I purchased including 70 mink eyelashes per eye. The procedure took a total of just 30 minutes. Your eyes must remain close the entire time. Here are my results…

So what I like the most about these lashes; are the fact that I do not even feel them. They are light as a feather and feel very soft. It was important for me that my lashes looked natural, but with a little boost in length with out the worry of mascara I have pretty long lashes so I just wanted more volume and a nicer curl. They give you size lash options when you arrive. I got the 12 and 13’s since my natural lashes are 10 from what I was told.

When you do decide to get your lashes done make sure it is on a clean face and also that you do not have mascara on.

I think next time I would opt for more lashes for a more dramatic look. However, for my first try I love the results. I recommend all of your ladies to try it at least once. Remember to head to lifebooker.com for some great lash deals.  You will love the results 🙂
