December Glamour

Finally got some much needed R&R this past Thanksgiving weekend. Now it is time to finish out 2014 with a bang. December is HERE so I want to make Chapter 12 of this year a great ending. This month is a busy one for me between my Birthday, Christmas, & New Years Eve.

With so many different occasions it is hard to create different looks that wont put a dent in your account. Thankfully this is the month there are endless sales so shopping for your latest treads will be less damage to our wallets. Here are my glam tips for surviving this fabulous holiday season.

Clothes: Something that represents the holiday season. Jewel Tones such as ruby reds, emerald green, silver and gold colors and of course cant go wrong with black and white. I love velvet & sequins! This is only time of the year where you can get away with sparkle and shine. Great places to shop for this look would be Asos.com, Boohoo.com, Nastygal.com, & Topshop.com

Shoes & Accessories : Shoes should be polished and neat. A little dressier than what you would wear to work. Silver and gold are a yes for this time of year! You can pretty much find a metallic shoe anywhere nowadays but I would check Aldo, Steve Madden, & Nine West for great deals. Accessories should make your attire look more festive. Statement necklaces are always a do! The more the better this is the time of the year when it is ok to gaudy lol. Add a broche or even dangling earrings to your ensemble. Bold bangles or even cocktail rings can make look so much more into the holiday spirit. Again Asos.com is a great one stop for all things fashion including accessories. Hair: Hollywood waves: Nothing beats this timeless hairstyle. It is sexy, sultry, and chic. You will instantly look like you stepped off the red carpet with this style.A classic high bun is a great style for the holidays because it is so effortless and very easy to do. A sleek ponytail is a great style for someone who doesn’t want to spend too much time on his or her hair. Add a nice barrette and your ready to go. Curls are great for any special occasion. You can wear them loose, tight, or teased. Or just add instant volume to your hair.

 

 

Makeup: It should be different from your daily day work look. Add some color to your lips or even a smokey eye. If you wear glasses try wearing contacts for an instant up the amp look. My staple is a bright lip, bold brows, and luxurious lashes. It will instantly make you look like a million bucks I guarantee it.
