Looks like we are having an Indian summer since it is so unseasonably warm for September, but hey I am not complaining at all. Even though the temperatures may be in the 70’s I am in a cool state of mind when it comes to my attire.This weekend I got to get away from the city to my childhood home in Pennsylvania to visit my family. With the sun shining & the trees already turning; it therefore inspired my Indian summer weekend look.
Here are the details of my outfit. My colorful floral sheer top is from Century 21 department stores. This store is the best place to go and find one of a kind pieces because their inventory is never repeated. Therefore, when you see something you like GET IT. Trust me you will not see it the next time you visit, and the best part is you can not beat the prices. The jeans I have on are actually my favorite pair which are 7 of all Mankind also from Century 21. The shoes are my laced up leather Charles Davis boots purchased on DSW.com. These boots you can dress up with a dress or skirt & also dress it down & do a casual look like I did. Lastly, I paired it perfectly with my black Kenneth Cole Reaction leather jacket.
I enjoyed this look because it is perfect for those cool mornings & warm afternoons while still being fall & spring friendly. This time of the year can be confusing since we often have that ” what should i wear ?” kind of moments. My advice is to dress in layers! That way if you get to hot you can take off a piece & if you get a little chilly you can add on a layer. I hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful weekend like I did. Until next time 🙂
