Most New Yorker’s are known to embrace the color black all year around for every season since it is considered “city chic”. However, I am the total opposite… I guess you can call me rebel when it comes to going against the norm! To me city chic is not wearing black head to toe everyday. My definition of city chic would be someone who can mix different hues to their attire without being too busy. I embrace COLOR! Especially feminine shades like the pastels I put together for this outfit: My blouse is from TJ Maxx I purchased this top a couple of years ago. I love that it is a pale pink with the eyelet look. It gives it a peek a boo touch, with a little bit of sexy but a more subtle feel. The pencil skirt is a lilac color I ordered from Boohoo.com that makes the outfit pop. The replica clutch of the famous Chanel perfume bottle is so cute I had to have it . And course I had to pair them with my favorite nude stilettos! & Voilà you have a playful pastel look that you can wear to work and also for happy hour 🙂
